No that's not my farm in the image, that's my friend Stevens place.

Anyway found a cheap flight out to Portugal and I still had my wrongly booked return. So I went for just under a week.  First thing I did was go see my farm, the agent met me to find it, I wasn't going crazy, the pin he sent me on Google was about 1/2 a mile out. Popped round to see a neighbour and ended up buying a car from him, Portuguese plate and left hand drive, so less hassle in the future bringing a car from the UK. Just have to pop back again in the near future to tax and insure it so I can drive it back to the UK to pack up and return with my cats.

Spent a few days just travelling around Portugal enjoying the scenery and acting like a tourist, taking lots of pictures.

On my last trip out, I met Steven from Warrington on the plane, he was going out to buy a farm as well. We exchanged numbers and parted ways at the airport.  The day before my return flight I decided to spend the day in Faro, Steve messaged to ask if I would take some pictures of his place before he starts renovating the next time I'm over.....  well actually I'm in Faro.

An hour later Steven picked me up and I took a trip up to the mountains to take the pics and Steven treated me to dinner before dropping me back at my hotel.

Back in the UK now planning and scheming for my next trip to get the car.  I might travel the long way so I can take more luggage (by boat and train) and some tools to start taking the wall down that I need to make the access into my farm. I'll probably bring my tent and a sleeping bag to leave there for future use.
